Bob Doll

Vice Chairman & Global Chief Investment Officer, BlackRock

Bob Doll is Vice Chairman and BlackRock's Global Chief Investment Officer for Equities and a member of the BlackRock’s Operating and Leadership Committees. Mr. Doll is also the head of the US Large Cap Series equity team and has primary portfolio management responsibility for these products.

Mr. Doll's service with the firm dates back to 1999, including his years with Merrill Lynch Investment Managers (MLIM), which merged with BlackRock in 2006. At MLIM, he served as the President and Chief Investment Officer, Senior Portfolio Manager of the Merrill Lynch Large Cap Series Funds. Prior to joining MLIM, Mr. Doll served as the Chief Investment Officer of Oppenheimer Funds, Inc. He received a BS in Accounting and a BA in Economics from Lehigh University and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Doll is both a Certified Public Account and a Chartered Financial Analyst.

As of 31 March 2009, BlackRock's assets under management total US$1.28 trillion across equity, fixed income, cash management, alternative investments and real estate strategies.

Richard co-founded Perry Capital in 1988. Prior to 1988, Richard was in the equity arbitrage area of Goldman, Sachs & Co. He was also an adjunct associate professor at the Stern School of Business at New York University, where he taught a course in the finance department. Richard serves on the board of directors of Capital Business Credit LLC, Endurance Specialty Holdings, Ltd, Universal American Corp. and Northwest Investments LLC. Richard is a member of the boards of trustees of Facing History and Ourselves, Harlem Children's Zone and the University of Pennsylvania. Richard earned an MBA at New York University’s Stern School of Business in 1980, and a BS at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School in 1977.
